These past few weeks I’ve been fighting off quite a few different illnesses, one coming right after the other. I started feeling better again this morning; just in time too. The sun is out with only a few clouds dotting the sky. There’s just the right amount of wind that rustles the leaves and keeps the clouds moving; making the sun’s light go in and out. Offering shade just when I start to get too hot from the sun’s intense heat.
I spent my morning reading, followed by a visit to Starbucks and ride through the fields where the Farmer’s have started planting their crops. Little green wisps sprout from the prepped ground. It’s amazing to know that in a short time those little bits of green are going to be taller than me. That soon they’ll be strong enough to hold ears of corn and their stalks will create a barrier along the road as I drive by with the windows down and the music up.
Spring always makes me think about faith and spirituality. All this newness, all the green, all the life; how can I still pose a question?
“I am fearfully and wonderfully made”
I’ve been seeing this quote/verse around a lot lately and usually just dismissed it, but after its hundredth appearance I decided to actually think about what it means. Whether my faith follows the book it came from or not, I think its meaning is amazingly powerful.
Anyway, on a blog note, I’ve been dreaming big about what this little blog can be. About ways it and I can grow together. There’s a possible name change in the works, however I want to be absolutely certain that rebranding is the road I want to take. I’ll keep you all posted and let you know before any changes occur. Not too much will change, there just will be more; more musings, more book posts, more crafty/artsy/diy posts, just more everything!
I’ve been trying too hard to find a ‘niche’ that my blog can fit into, but I’ve never really fit into a niche myself, so why should my blog? It’s going to help hold everything I already hold dear in my heart. I’m seriously so excited to start this new chapter for the blog!
