It's my 20th birthday today.
I woke up to flowers and a fancy box of chocolate from my parents!
My 'big' gift was a trip to Ikea earlier this month!

I know I usually do a post about how I feel so old,
or some crazy ramblings and I probably still will this week!
I've been thinking way too much about age this week,
but the world didn't end when today hit so I'm okay!
Regular posting will resume next week!

I hope you're all having a beautiful weekend!

  2. Happy Birthday. :D 20 is a weird change in age cause you have the 2 in front of everything now. It was weird for me but now I am used to it (now being 3 years later...)

I haven't read any of the books but I have The Catastrophic History of You and Me for the longest time and can't wait to read Hysteria, it seems creepy and unique. Enjoy! :)

  4. Awesome haul, Katie :)

I don't understand this fear of aging that people have, but maybe its just me. Older for me is a step closer to where I want to be; closer to a family, no more college, a job that I want, the ability to do anything (not that I will do it; just that I can ;)

    Great post!

    1. Thanks Ryan! :)
I need to try and think of it in that way, I just think of all the things that I *have* to do instead of looking it as an *opportunity* to do new things.

  5. Happy birthday Katie!

I keep meaning to read The Catastrophic History of You and Me but I never seem to get around to it :/ I've only read one book by Meg Rosoff, and that was How I Live Now. I thought it was... strange, but good. I'm definitely willing to give more of her books a try, so I can't wait to see what you think of There Is No Dog.

    Happy reading :)
