I couldn't read The Knife of Never Letting Go... The way the author wrote it is amazing, but it was so annoying. Hope you enjoy it though, can't wait to read your thoughts!

Happy Birthday, Katie!! You got so many great books. I'm reading the Knife of Never Letting Go right now-- it's pretty good.
ReplyDeleteI loved your summary of the Iron Witch! '...she got injured and then she got stuff written on her arms, and she and this hot dude go and find her friend'. That pretty much sums the book up perfectly, lol. I thought that one was mediocre-ish. But now I have to go see I am Number Four! Anyway, happy reading. :)
Geez! Tons of books!
ReplyDeleteSo many of those sound awesome. I am going to have to get Recovery Road. I like books about messed up people too :) haha
Hope you enjoy all of your books!
I realized that Hex matched your blog with the pink polka-dots.
ReplyDeleteAnd a random question: Do you play guitar? I think I can see a guitar in the back ground. xD

Happy Birthday Lady! Your family sure knows how to pick 'em :) The entire Chaos Walking trilogy is INCREDIBLE. Wintergirls is the best written book I've read in months (or at least in the top 2 :) and the Dream Catcher books are fabulous as well. Happy reading!!
ReplyDeleteWooh, you got amazing books for your birthday! That's cool =D
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday! You have such a great stack of books! I wish I got that many books for my birthday. ;)
ReplyDeleteSounds to me like you had an excellent birthday!
ReplyDeleteI just finished I Am Number Four last week, and I really liked it. Haven't seen the movie yet though. Hopefully I will soon. =) And I keep hearing great things about Deb Caletti. I'll have to get something by her soon! Happy late birthday, and I look forward to your reviews. =)

Oooh. I have seen Hex around. It a books I plan on buying soon! I will be looking for your review on that one. Enjoy all of your books!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a good birthday. Congrats on officially being an adult. :-)
ReplyDeleteI just bought another Lauren Barnholdt book today (Aces Up) and I haven't even read the other ones yet. I guess I'm just convinced that I will love her books.
I loved Wintergirls! Anything Laurie writes is basically genius!
I bought The Iron Witch right when it was released and I still haven't read it. I seriously need to stop buying until I catch up on the stacks that I have. Tonight I sorted all my unread books into stacks based on how long ago I bought them. I feel slightly better since the summer/fall pile is dwindling down, but the pile bought after school started is intense and I just added to it again today. Half-Price is seriously the death of my book buying bans. I don't know what I even try.
I read The Knife of never letting go last summer. It's great!
ReplyDeleteBye.
I really enjoyed reading 'Deadly little secrets' & 'The Iron Witch'. I hope you do too! :)
ReplyDeleteWell that's such a great haul of books you managed to get this week! Holy Moly!
ReplyDeleteHope you enjoy each and every one of them ( I personally can't wait to read "It's Kind Of A Funny Story" )
Here's my IMM.
Happy Reading!
I enjoyed Haven and hope you do too.
