What is/was your favorite subject in school?

My favorite subject is definitely art. I love that sometime during the school day you're able to express yourself. Since I hated my old school I was in the art rooms for 3 out of the 4 periods a day and even taught a class. I love that it's a release that comes out beautiful no matter what.
Academically speaking, history was my favorite because it's straight facts. No gray areas.

What book are you most looking forward to seeing published in 2011? Why are you anticipating that book?

I seriously cannot wait until Delirium by Lauren Oliver is published! I already read the book as a galley and fell head over heels in love with it. It's my favorite book so I can't wait to have the signed finished copy sitting on my shelf!

  1. I don't think I could pick just one book that I'm looking forward to! I'm definitely excited for Anna Dressed in Blood though!

My favourite subject in school was French...or English :)

  2. My favourite subject was, surprise, surprise, English Lit! I didn't realise how much I liked it, wasn't planning to take it after GCSE (exams you take at 16 here) but it was a second choice which I ended up studying at university. Funny how things turn out.

I'm excited about Forever by Maggie Stiefvater, and of course Delirium (less than a week to go, wooo! But most of all I'm excited about the books I don't know about yet, that I will chance to pick up and be surprised by, whether that be a new release or an old book I've just found.

  3. It was so hard to pick only ONE book, but I LOVED Delirium as well! I am going to her signing on Tuesday!! :)

    The Reading Housewives

  4. I'm looking forward to The Iron Queen extremely badly- loved the first two! And ad for my favorite subject... it was probably history or creative writing. Which I guess are two complete opposites, lol :)
