The More You Read The More You Will Know
What makes up your nonhuman family?
We have a seven and a half year old bichon cocker spaniel named Max. He's been a part of our family since he was only four months old. Max is adorable! I love him so much! I also had a guinea pig named Paisley and a parakeet named Pretty Boy (my mom named him) who I loved both so much!

Why do you read the genre that you do? What draws you to it?
I read young adult books because I can relate to the characters since I'm a teen. I also love that they're on the brink of this huge change in their lives. Their decisions can make them or break them. All the possibility that lies ahead is definitely what draws me in.
Aw, I love dogs! :D I have two of my own, called Trevor and Jensen. Cocker spaniels are so adorable. We used to look after a few when my mum used to "dogsit" for people :)
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with the Teen and YA genre! I'm a teen as well. [:
ReplyDeleteReading about teens seems so much easier to relate to like you said, and its like when your reading an amazing book and you become friends with the characters and their heart gets broken so does yours. i love those kind of books [:
Your dog is soo cutee! =)
ReplyDeleteYA, ftw. I'm 20, but I don't think I'll be growing out of teen-age anytime soon.
ReplyDeleteMax is so cute!
ReplyDeleteI love what you said about all the possibility that lies ahead...that's so true, I've never thought about that before.
Happy Hop Day!

ReplyDeleteAw thank you so much Catarina! You're so sweet! (Max says thank you for calling him cute too!)
Thanks Kristin!
I think you've totally nailed it. That's why I love YA too. The characters (even when they are in a horrible dystopia) have so much energy and optimism.
