According to all the experts, it's time for me to talk about what I'm going through- but she, and the experts, and Gram, for that matter, don't get it. I can't. I'd need a new alphabet, one made of falling, of tectonic plates shifting, of the deep devouring dark.

This quote really stayed with me throughout the book. I think this explains how a lot of us feel through difficult times. No matter how much we may talk about our troubles no one really can understand them but us. Jandy Nelson is an amazing writer. I adored this book.
